PYAC’s fourth annual community kids carnival.

Mark your calendars for PYAC’s fourth annual community kids
 carnival.  This year’s event will be held under the lights on the
 PHS football field on Friday night September 23rd from 6-9 p.m.  Thanks to our generous sponsors we have a great evening of family fun planned.  You will find large inflatables, carnival games, food and a fantastic auction/raffle!  The event is free but attractions/and games cost.  The best value is to get an unlimited attractions band for $20 (or $15 for youth 5 and under)!  With each wristband purchased you will get two general raffle tickets to put into various drawings that evening.  A sampling of the auction/raffle items that will be available includes; several vacation getaways, terrific dining certificates, a Leopold scoop, a jet boat certificate, OSU baseball memorabilia and MUCH more.  For more information or to purchase your tickets, please call PYAC at 929-4040

 

 

The Philomath Youth Activities Club is offering a variety of sports and childcare options for the families of the Philomath Rural Fire Protection District during Fall 2011. PYAC is a local area non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide positive, safe, recreational & educational experiences for youth. Below is a list of options available for area families. For more information, call the PYAC office at 929-4040, visit our Clubhouse and administrative staff at 421 S. 19th St. in Philomath between 8:00am. to 11:00am and 2:45pm to 6:00pm Monday-Friday.

 Clemens Clubhouse ( Formerly The Youth Center)

Program – The Clubhouse is open from after school - 6:00 p.m. , Monday-Friday for grades 4-8. This drop in facility includes table games, a covered basketball half court, ping-pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, bumper pool, video games, lounge area with a wide screen television, arts & crafts activities, snack room with vending machines and computer room with DSL connection for your homework needs.

Location – The Clubhouse is located at 421 S. 19th St. in Philomath.

Cost – Children and parents signatures are required on the registration form and must be presented at time of the first visit. Monthly attendance fees are $30.00 for June, July & August;  and $20.00 a month for the school year. A punch card for 10 visits can be purchased for $10.00 if attending 2 days or less per week.

Deadline – The Clubhouse is a drop in club therefore there is no registration deadline. Children are free to leave the premises as they choose. Please talk to your children about whether or not it is acceptable to you for them to leave the center and go to places such as area stores, restaurants or a friend’s house.
