In 1989 the Philomath City Council
Youth Activity Committee started a summer baseball program which grew into a temporary
association with the Corvallis Boy's and Girl's Club. PYAC was officially
established in 1995, offering a variety of recreational experiences for the kids of
Philomath. PYAC UPDATE!! Without the families and community's support and others we

Our Guiding Principles We believe that all children and families should have equal access to all age-appropriate activities. We believe in providing a safe and supportive environment where all children and families experience caring and encouragement; thus, feeling special, wanted, and challenged to excel. We believe a high quality program is dependent on having well-trained staff and volunteers who promote high standards of integrity, honesty, openness, and fairness. We believe in clearly communicating our services, standards, beliefs, and goals to the community. We believe that volunteers, parents, families and interested community members are necessary for our programs to be successful. We believe resources must be developed to provide our services to the youth of the community.
Fees PYAC, a non-profit organization, receives limited public funding. All program participants pay a $5.00 annual club fee for all athletic programs. No child will be denied access to programs because of inability to pay. Financial assistance is available for program/registration costs.
