Donation Opportunities

PYAC operates on fees, grants from foundations, sponsorships from local businesses and private donations.  P.YA.C is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations are tax-exempt to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. The following is a description of the various ways you can support PYAC financially.

   $1000 Club 

For an annual gift of $1000, an individual or organization can sponsor a basketball team, a baseball team, a flag football team, a  lease on a Safety Town house and make a contribution to the PYAC Annual Fund Drive.

   Athletic Team Sponsorships

Area businesses sponsor all sports teams.  The sponsoring business's logo is displayed on team uniforms, team pictures and programs. 2007 sponsorship fees are:

• Basketball                     $275

• Baseball or Softball       $275

• Flag Football                  $275

• Volleyball team               $275
  

   Safety Town leases

Philomath Safety Town is part of a national two-week program designed to teach in-coming kindergartners how to keep safe as they venture into the larger world.  A small village with buildings, street signs and vehicles is set up as Safety Town.  Local businesses that support the village have their names prominently displayed in Safety Town.

• 3 Year Building Lease        $300

• 3 Year Vehicle Lease         $125

• 3 Year Road Sign              $75

   PYAC Annual Membership Fund 

In May of each year we conduct an appeal to the community for donations in support of PYAC's operating funds.  All level of gifts are welcome.

• Platinum Members           Gifts of more than $501

• Gold Members                Gifts up to $251-$500

• Silver Members              Gifts up to $101-$250

• Bronze Members            Gifts up to $100 

   Gifts in Honor

Often we want to give a gift in recognition of a special occasion, but frankly, the person we want to recognize doesn't need a thing.  You know they do, however, have a genuine concern for the welfare of the community's young people.  In this situation, you can make a donation to PYAC in that person's honor and we'll notify them of your gift immediately.

   Gifts in Memory

These gifts are often made in lieu of flowers at the time of death.  Family members are notified of your gift to PYAC.

  PYAC Building Maintenance Fund

Gifts may be made to the PYAC Building Maintenance Fund and will be used for that purpose only.
