Eddie VanVlacks Desk

I must first say “Thank You” to Kay and the Philomath Bulletin for their willingness to partner with our organization in bringing you this special newsletter. Due to the challenging economic times we are constantly looking for ways to cut our costs and improve our efficiencies. In partnering with the Bulletin we are saving over 50% of what it normally costs us to print and ship our newsletter. The Bulletin is a GREAT resource for our community and an amazing way for us to offer coverage and recognition for our community’s youth. From providing pictures and schedules for our youth teams to providing comprehensive coverage of all of our high school programs. I highly encourage you to support the paper in whatever capacity that you can (advertise, purchase a subscription, buy off of the newsstand, or even submit stories and pictures). Disseminating information in a timely and cost effective manner is always a challenge for small businesses (which is what we are at PYAC). With that said we would like to remind you of several different ways in which you can stay informed of happenings around our organization. The first is checking our website www.pyac.org we are currently in the process of giving our site a make-over that will allow us to share more information and hopefully even registration forms! You can also become a friend of PYAC on face book and then we will post any upcoming events on our face book page. Finally we are considering going “paperless” with our newsletter and rather than mailing them out simply emailing them out and having them available on our webpage. We would welcome your thoughts on this concept and would love to have as many folks as possible email us pyac@peak.org .your email address so that we can add you to our contact lists!

Thank you for supporting PYAC
